Maserati are set to reveal a limited edition Quattroporte at this years 65th Frankfurt Motor Show – the Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna.

This limited edition Quattroporte is named after the famous Italian men’s fashion label Ermenegildo Zegna, which has had input on the classy and stylish design changes to what is already a stunningly attractive four door sports car.

The car will feature a special effect platinum-metallic paint colour with aluminum pigments along with a glossy black primer which amplifies the effect and creates a sensation of depth. Inside items such as the seats, door panels and the roof lining are all finished in a high-end soft leather along with a new interior fabric which emulates the Zegna clothing line, making it a mighty fine place to spend your time. There are no other exterior changes to the car other than the special effect paintwork.

Engines also remained unchanged with the choice of either a 523bhp V8 or the 410bhp V6. The V6 will take the Quattroporte up to a top speed of 177mph with the V8 taking it to an even higher speed of 191mph. Both units are twin-turbocharged engines created by Maserati and assembled by Ferrari at Maranello

This is the first collaboration by the two Italian brands who have both signed a three year contract to work together earlier in the year.

Prices are yet to be announced but it is expected there will be a small increase in price over the standard V6 and V8 models costing £80,095 and £108,160 respectively with vehicles being available early 2014.
